Return & Refund Policy
Because Terroir Artisan Butter is a fresh, perishable food product, we do not accept returns or exchanges.
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@terroirbutter.com. Please include your order number, a brief description of the issue, and photos if applicable.
Items sent back to us without first contacting us will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order when you receive it.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or in a condition that does not meet our quality standards, please contact us immediately so we can review the issue and make it right.
Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit. All refunds, replacements, and store credits are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Terroir Artisan Butter is a perishable food product and cannot be returned.
We also cannot offer refunds or replacements for issues outside of our control, including:
- Incorrect delivery information provided at checkout
- Missed deliveries
- Orders left unrefrigerated after delivery
- Improper storage after receiving the product
- Change of mind after purchase
- Sale items
- Gift cards

Exchanges
We do not offer exchanges.
If there is an issue with your order, please contact us at hello@terroirbutter.com and we will review the situation individually.
European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period
Because Terroir Artisan Butter is a perishable food product, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges, including under general cooling-off periods that may otherwise apply to non-perishable merchandise.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise has a quality issue, please contact us immediately at hello@terroirbutter.com so we can review the matter and determine an appropriate resolution.
Refunds
Refunds are not automatic and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember that it can take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
In some cases, we may offer a replacement or store credit instead of a refund.
